Marriage, based on certain institutions, is a human right. If we take away one human’s right to marry based on religious pretenses then we must also take away the right of all those who do not agree with those religious premises. We have to take away the rights of the JBuddhist, Hindus, Atheists, Satanists, Wiccans, Blacks (because the bible says they’re slaves), Asians (because there are no Asians in the bible), and everyone else who isn’t Christian and doesn’t fit biblical imagery. And we can make them civil partners and alienate them and send them away and euthanize them and sterilize them so they don’t make more. And then the world would be perfect, right?
